*Important Announcement*
Dear friends,
As we all know, the Federal Government has closed public worship in our churches, due to COVID-19.
Even though church has been closed, the Greek Orthodox Community & Church of Canberra (GOCCC) is still covering expenses as they come in. Without the weekly church services donations, we are reducing our finances to meet these expenses.
After discussions with Father Petros and in response to this, the GOCCC committee have decided to help raise funds for our church via social media.
Fr Petros will be lighting candles and praying for our health and safety. For more information, please click on the link below and THANK YOU for your financial support in advance.

St Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church Hall - Proposed building design
St Nicholas Church Hall plans which St Basil is building for our community will commence when the new aged care facility has started in 2019.

St Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church - Refurbishment
The Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Kingston will undergo refurbishment works from the end of 2018 and throughout 2019.
This will include reinstating original form and fabric to the Church to bring back to the original design as well as refurbishment of elements of the Church which have become tired and in need of an uplift after 50 years.
Church services will continue as usual.
